“ Exceptional food and service. Everything from the appetizers, drinks, the desserts, to the main entree was excellent. We enjoyed being able to see inside the kitchen as they were preparing the food. Our server Nikki was an absolute joy. She was incredilby friendly and made great suggestions regarding the entrees. Plan to spend 2 to 3 hours enjoying the wonderful environment and food. ”
“ Small local restaurant serving up quality. The menu may be a little more "limited" but if you want to have 10 pages of options, go to the factory of cheesecake. Fresh daily options, a very good variety of flavors and textures in regards to the types of pastas and sauces. 6 year old ate up the bread and his spaghetti marinara with a smile. Sorry we haven't tried this spot sooner, we will definitely be coming back. ”
“ We sat outside last night on the patio and enjoyed a great meal and drinks. Our server was awesome and she was very attentive and kind. The pasta, calamari, and dessert were amazing and we will be back again ”
“ Went to this wonderful little Italian restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Frank was our waiter and he was wonderfully attentive, brought us 2 complimentary glasses of champagne and recited all of the specials ingredient by ingredient. After ordering a gin and tonic and a special made mudslide, we ordered the duck leg with mushroom pappardelle and the lasagna with bolognese. Both incredible. We had tiramisu for dessert and Italian coffee. Excellent. I’d recommend a relaxing, delicious evening at Pane e Vino. ”
“ We had a great time! We shut the place down. Very clear this is a place for locals, but we were treated like family. Chris gave us max attention and served several other tables too. The trattoria atmosphere was highlighted by watching the staff work as a team. The food was very traditional and excellent. From the appetizers to dessert, wine to Limon cello, everything was superb. We will be back again soon. ”
“ Fabulous Italian restaurant in Hollywood, SC. My wife and I with my sister and her husband thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service at this quality restaurant. We had Lobster Bisque, Tile fish with tomato olive sauce, Risotto with scallops, shrimp and muscles, Lasagna paired with a great Sicilian red wine and Tiramisu for dessert. We were overwhelmed with the meal and the service that we received. Definitely another trip to this fantastic restaurant is due soon. Viva Italiano! ”
“ Excellent Italian food. Huge wine selection, limited bar selection. This is that staple place, a must stop when wanting great Italian fare. A hidden gem, tucked away in a perfect spot for people wanting a great meal, but not wanting to deal with the traffic of downtown. Thanks. We'll be back soon. ”
“ A Hidden Gem of Italian Excellence Tucked away from the tourist crowds, Pane E Vino (bread & wine) is an absolute treasure for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the warm, inviting ambiance and the rich aroma of simmering sauces transport you straight to Italy. The menu is a masterclass in traditional flavors with a modern touch. The handmade pasta is perfectly al dente, and the sauces burst with depth and character—whether it’s the silky, slow-cooked bolognese or the Gorgonzola sauce. The pizza is an absolute must-try! Coming from an authentic Italian pizza oven. Service is impeccable—genuine hospitality that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another diner. The owner might even stop by to chat, sharing stories of family recipes or recommending the perfect wine pairing from their impressive selection. Save room for dessert, because the tiramisu is nothing short of divine—light, airy, and perfectly balanced. Paired with a strong espresso or a sip of limoncello, it’s the perfect way to end an unforgettable meal. If you’re looking for a truly authentic Italian experience away from the usual tourist traps, Pane E Vino is well worth seeking out. A meal here isn’t just dinner—it’s a love letter to Italian cuisine. ”
